Cash‑Only Solar Referral Program

1) Who Can Refer (Participants)

  • Existing customers with a fully paid cash system (installed or under contract)
  • Account must be in good standing
  • No employees, sales reps, or household members

2) What Counts as a Qualified Referral

A referral is qualified when all of the following are true:

  1. New homeowner lead (not already in CRM)
  2. Property is in your service territory
  3. Cash purchase agreement signed
  4. System is installed and passes local inspection

3) Incentive Structure

  • 1st install: $500
  • 2nd install: $750
  • 3rd+ installs: $1,000 each

4) Payout Rules

  • Payout timing: 1-2 weeks after install and local inspection passed
  • Payment method: ACH or Digital
  • Tax handling:
    • W‑9 required
    • 1099‑NEC issued if total rewards ≥ IRS threshold
  • One referrer per project
  • First submitted referral wins
  • Referee must confirm who referred them

Cash-Only Solar Referral Program – Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 3/20/2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Cash Solar Customer Referral Program (“Program”) offered by Custom Solar Solutions (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By submitting or participating in a referral, you agree to these Terms.

  1. Eligibility

Referrers (“Participants”)
To be eligible:

  • You must be an existing customer of Custom Solar Solutions
  • Your solar system must be purchased with cash (no lease or PPA)
  • Your account must be in good standing
  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • Employees, contractors, sales representatives, and members of their households are not eligible

Referred Customers (“Referees”)

  • Must be new customers not previously in Company’s CRM
  • Must own the residential property being evaluated
  • Property must be located within Company’s service territ
  • Qualified Referral

A referral is considered qualified only when all of the following occur:

  1. Referral is submitted through an approved Company channel
  2. Referee signs a cash purchase agreement
  3. The solar system is fully installed and passes local inspection

Only one referrer may be associated with a given project. If multiple referrals are submitted for the same property, the first valid submission will be honored.

  1. Referral Reward
  • Reward Amount: $500 1st; $750 2nd; $1,000 3+ per qualified referral
  • Reward Type: Digital or ACH
  • Payment Timing: 1-2 weeks after system installation & passed local inspection

Rewards are subject to verification and approval by Company.

 

  1. Limits & Restrictions
  • Self‑referrals are not permitted
  • Referrals for properties owned by the Participant are not eligible
  • Referral rewards may not be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated
  1. Taxes

Referral rewards may be considered taxable income. Participants are responsible for all applicable taxes.
Company may require a completed W‑9 and may issue a 1099‑NEC as required by law.

  1. Disclosure Requirement

Participants must clearly disclose the existence of a referral incentive when sharing referral links or recommendations.
“I may receive a cash referral reward if you install solar.”

Failure to disclose may result in disqualification from the Program.

  1. Fraud, Abuse, and Disqualification

Company reserves the right to withhold or revoke rewards if:

  • Fraudulent, misleading, or unethical behavior is suspected
  • False or incomplete information is submitted
  • Program terms are violated

Company’s decisions regarding eligibility and qualification are final.

  1. Program Changes or Termination

Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these Terms at any time, with or without notice.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state of Georgia in which Custom Solar Solutions is headquartered.
